Temporary Placement<\/h2>\n

Bank Indonesia did not change its policy rate in June 2023 and the rate stays at 5.75% since January 2023. The deposit rate of banks hasn\u2019t changed much. The loan growth in May 2023 rebounded and recorded 9.39%, higher than 8.08% in April 2023. The money market bond yields declined due to the liquidity in the market after some of the government bonds went matured in the last two months. That gave an advantage for the money market funds to earn a capital gain. As the headline inflation keeps declining and the exchange rate of the Rupiah is stable, we plan to own more bond portions instead of bank deposits because we don\u2019t think Bank Indonesia still raise the policy rate thus it is difficult to expect better returns in bank deposits.<\/p>\n
