Hunting Yields<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Domestic inflation is in a declining trend although Indonesians celebrated the Hari Raya Idul Fitri in April 2023. It creates a higher real rate that not many countries can provide. Additionally, the exchange rate has been stable below Rp 15,000 per USD. These are strong reasons to back BI\u2019s monetary policy to stay the same for three consecutive months leaving the spread between the Fed rate and BI 7D RRR only 75 bps. Currently, there is plenty of room to improve money market fund return where many short-term maturity bonds will so be mature. Those matured bonds will be replaced by bonds that have higher yields, hence better returns can be expected.<\/p>\n
